“Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.”
— Dorothea Lange
Are you the next David Bailey looking for that award winning shot?
How about looking for inspiration to boost your Instagram profile?
Or are you just an enthusiast of photography and travel?
For those interested in photography whether preferring to be behind the lens or in front of it, then ‘Photography Corner’ is just for you!
As a keen photographer myself who is far from professional, I’d like to share with you some of my favourite shots I’ve taken from around the globe. Hopefully they can inspire you to travel, or at the very least give some enjoyment. For me photos are incredibly important. Although you shouldn’t miss out on just living in the moment, capturing a instant in time is special. That exact split second has been frozen, impossible to get back. You can always attempt to replicate, but it will never be exactly the same. With the use of photography, in your possession is something so much more valuable than anything else you possess. You have a moment from history stored for a lifetime.
All these pictures have been taken by myself or my partner, and don’t use fancy top of the range equipment. In all honesty the majority of photos will have likely been taken by a smart phone. This is important to mention as what should really be taken away from this page is the true beauty of the world, and for that you don’t need to spend a fortune… All you need is a bit of imagination and a passion for showing the wonders of this planet through your very own eyes!
The Windmills of Mykonos
I love this photo… Not only do the windmills provide an epic backdrop, but you really do get a sense of the amazing structure and architecture of these traditional buildings, which are totally unique to this part of the world. A sight which is a must to see for any who are travelling around the Greek Isles!
Holetown Beach – Barbados
Not much really needs to be said about this picture, right?
Barbados sunsets are a fantasy worth living in…
